This is a smoothie that I make a lot during the Holiday Season. This recipe tastes just like a pumpkin pie in a glass. It is so good and creamy. If you like pumpkin pie you are going to love this smoothie.
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup vanilla almond milk
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 dates ( soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and drained)
1 tbsp flaxseed meal
1 banana frozen and slightly thawed
- In a blender add all of the ingredients adding the banana last. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into a mug or glass and add a straw and enjoy!
If you want it to be more sweet add in maple syrup 1 tbsp spoon at a time while blending to get the desired sweetness you like. Top with cocowhip and serve. simple. delicious. and good for you.
