Gingerbread Bliss Balls

These little bites of holiday heaven are so dang good! I promise you cant eat just one. I make these during the holiday season as sweet treats for everyone. I also make these during the summer as I just love these little things. They are so festive and delicious.

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup dates

1 tbsp molasses

3/4 tsp ginger powder

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup chopped almonds

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl add the dates and fill with hot water to cover. Allow them to sit for about 20 minutes to soften. Drain.
  2.  In a food processor add the dates, molasses, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon and blend until paste forms.
  3. Add the oats and almonds and blend until dough forms. Remove from the processor and roll into balls and place in an airtight container.

They are travel-friendly and kid-friendly. They are also family approved.
