Vanilla Almond Bliss Balls

I love making these. They are so good, they travel well and they curb those hunger strikes. These are so easy to make and Have amazing ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup soaked dates (pitted)

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup almond meal

1/3 cup oats ( ground into a flour)

1 tbsp chia seeds

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put the dates in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Allow them to sit for about 20 minutes.
  2. In the meantime add the oats to a food processor and blend until it forms a flour-like consistency. Remove to a bowl and set aside.
  3. In the same processor add in the dates that have been drained and pitted, vanilla, and cinnamon and pulse to form an even paste.
  4. Add the almond flour, oat flour, and chia seeds. Pulse to combine into a dough. Remove from the processor and roll into uniform balls and place in an airtight container in the fridge.

You can roll these balls in shredded coconut or chopped nuts of choice. They make a really good post work out snack. You can pack them for your kids for lunch or snack, You can carry them to work or school. They are very travel-friendly.
