INGREDIENTS:

4 potatoes (washed and cut into wedges or into thick strips

1 tsp smoked paprika

pepper to taste

1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper depending on how hot you want or like.

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Olive Oil Spray ( optional)

1/2 Tsp Seasoning Salt ( optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 425*.  Wash the potatoes and clean well. Cut the potatoes in to wedges or thick strips and place in to a large bowl.
  2.  Add all of the  spices and toss to coat well. Lay on to a parchment lined baking pan and If you want oil, spray lightly with olive oil spray, If you prefer no oil just omit it.
  3. Place in to the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly for about 10 minutes before serving.

I like to serve these with either avocado dip, hummus, ketchup or tomato sauce. They go with any type of dipping sauce you prefer.

When you are making Oven Fries, They sky is the limit with seasoning. You can make any combo your heart desires. I also use sweet potatoes and carrots as well. You can also cut the potatoes into cubes and fry them in an iron skillet with a little oil to turn them in to home fries. We like them all sorts of ways.

Potatoes are so versatile and delicious.
