Poppy Seed Dressing

I love making this dressing for any salad I make that require fruit in the mix. It just compliments them so well. I do have a few dressing that I make with certain recipes. I find that this dressing Is great for any salad with fruit. It is so easy to make and you can chill it until you are ready for it. You can make it the day before and serve when ready or you can make it right away. It travels well so you can take it to get togethers or picnics. It stores for about 1 week in the fridge.

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup mayo (your favorite brand will do just fine)
1/4 cup milk ( less if you want a more thicker dressing)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp poppy seeds
1/4 tsp ( optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl combine all of the ingredients. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and well combined. Taste and adjust if you need more sugar or to use the salt. I sometimes omit the salt depending on the salad I am using it on. If you want to add the salt you can. That depends on the flavor you are going for.
  2. Cover and chill 1 hour or until ready to use.

I would recommend to dress the salad with the dressing before serving or keep it on the side and serve as needed.
