Easy Grilled Pork Chops

These easy grilled pork chops are my just one of my go to recipes. I know that they are a big hit and we never have left overs when I make them. They are so easy to put together and grill up. You can grill them on a grill pan, a fry pan, or on the grill. Either way they turn out delicious every time. The simple ingredients pack a beautiful flavor. They are so good. You just whip up the marinade, let them sit a while, then pop them on the grill. So simple and easy. So let’s get started.

Easy Grilled Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 cup honey ( any flavor will do as it will also add its own flavor to the dish)
2 tbsp avocado oil ( or any neutral oil)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp adobo seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes ( or to heat preference or you can omit)
6 to 8 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl combine the honey, oil, vinegar, cumin, adobo, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine well.
  2. Place the pork chops in a bag and pour over the marinade. Massage the marinade over the meat. Let out as much air as possible and seal the bag. Continue to massage the meat with the marinade until all of the meat is covered. Let rest for 1 hour. You can do this in the morning and let stand until you are ready to make it or you can do this the night before. It depends on how much time you have at the moment.
  3. Heat a grill pan over med-low heat and let come to temp. Spray with a bit of oil spray to prevent sticking. Place the pork chops on the pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the pork chops you have and rather they are bone in or boneless. If they are a more thick cut of meat cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from the grill pan and place on a plate. Let the meat rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
