Sweet Heat Peach BBQ Sauce

We love BBQ and cook it quite often, whether on the grill, in the smoker, or in the oven. In the South, we are all about BBQ and spending time outside in the summer. We get the grills going and just have fun and it is always centered around some form of BBQ.

This sweet heat sauce is perfect for any time of year and we love it. If you like spice then you will love this sauce. You can start with my Original sauce which the recipe is here on my blog or you can use your favorite sauces to make this delicious sauce. You can put this on ribs, chicken, or on your favorite pulled pork. It goes well with it all.

Let’s get started.

INGREDIENTS:

2 Tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce
1/3 C. Spicy Habanero Sauce ( or your favorite spicy BBQ sauce)
1/2 C. Regular BBQ sauce ( you can use mine or your favorite style sauce)
1/2 C. Peach preserves or peach butter
2 Tbsp. Hot sauce ( your favorite)
1/2 Tsp. Red pepper flakes
1 Tsp. Ground mustard
Salt and pepper – to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. You can start with making my regular BBQ sauce and then move on to step two Or start at step two.
  2. In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and whisk until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Use this sauce as you would any style of BBQ sauce.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • You can freeze for up to 3 months.
  • You can also can this sauce. Please find the correct canning method for your area. After lid pops and the mixture is cooled, remove the outer ring before storing. Check the lid often to make sure the lid is properly sealed.
