Alfredo Sauce

We all love alfredo. Chicken Alfredo. Shrimp Alfredo. They are all delicious.

So, I am going to share with you a super simple and delicious Alfredo sauce that is perfect for all styles of pasta.

Let’s get started.


3 tbsp butter
1 to 2 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp flour
3/4 cup cream
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup parmesan cheese – Grated
salt and pepper to taste


  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the cream in slowly while whisking to prevent clumping. Add in the milk and whisk until slightly thickened and smooth.
  4. Add in the parm and whisk until smooth and no bits of cheese are remaining. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust.
  5. Serve as desired.

  • I use this recipe for all pasta or recipes that call for alfredo sauce.
  • Add 1/4 tsp of nutmeg for a beautiful depth of flavor.
